What are you thankful for? Normally around November,
especially on Thanksgiving, people are thinking about that, but I have a
question for you. When something good happens, like you barely avoid a
collision while driving or someone becomes a Christian or you save some money
do you take 3 seconds to thank God for his provision in your life as well as
others? And not just on Thanksgiving, but all the time? Or are you in to much
of a rush? God wants to have a close relationship with you and whether it’s
spending 3 seconds on the go thanking him for all the blessings he gives you or
even spending a total of 30 minutes reading the Bible every morning or a
whopping 3 hours in prayer with Him, He loves you and wants you to stay close
to Him. Don’t waste your life wrapped up in the business of this life. Slow
down, pray, read the Bible, and make a huge effort to be as Christ like and
godly as you possibly can and to grow as close to God, because remember, you
wouldn’t even be alive right now without Him.
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ
Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
