1957 Little League World Series the first Mexican team ever to participate
conquered the division and went on to defeat California in the finals. Their
pitcher, Angel Macias, in the pitched an unbelievable perfect game, setting a
record for being the first and only one to throw a perfect game up until 2010.

Today, Mariano Rivera of the New York Yankees became the all-time leader in saves in MLB history. With his 43rd save he broke Trevor Hoffman's record of 601 saves and replaced it with 602. There are still more games to be played this season so he can add to his record even more.
